Organization: Displaced kidney failure patients suffer slow death
A total of 24,927 Palestinians have been killed and 62,388 have been wounded in Israeli strikes on Gaza since Oct.7, the Gaza health ministry said in a statement on Saturday .
Some 165 Palestinians were killed and 280 wounded in the past 24 hours, the ministry added.
Addameer Association for Human Rights in Gaza announced the death of four cases of kidney failure as a result of the tragic and difficult conditions.

The foundation said that the place is not qualified to provide drug support due to the small number of beds, the lack of space and its lack of cleanliness, other necessary reasons for the nature of patients, the lack of dialysis machines and the number of doctors following up on patients’ cases.
The foundation indicated that 1175 patients from kidney failure in the Gaza Strip. Abu Youssef Al-Najjar Hospital in Rafah received 600 kidney failure patients from the displaced people, distributed among 18 dialysis machines.
He pointed out that the patient needed four hours a day normally before the Israeli aggression on Gaza for two hours at a time, while he washed 12 hours a week distributed over three days, not to mention suffering from long waits.
Addameer Association for Human Rights confirmed that all this comes within the framework of the Israeli aggression that targets the defenseless population in Gaza Strip in all aspects of their living, humanitarian and health life.
It called on the international community, its health organizations and the High Signatories to the Fourth Geneva Convention to assume their legal and moral responsibilities take urgent and effective action and take serious steps to prevent a humanitarian and health catastrophe.
