Sharp decline in economic activity in Israel

The Israeli occupation government confirmed on Sunday a sharp decline in the country’s economic activity.

This comes in conjunction with the continued Yemeni blockade of Israeli ports.

Exclusive – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:

Israeli Channel 12 quoted officials as saying that economic activity has declined by about 75%.

Sources indicated that the decline is attributed to several reasons, including attacks in the Red Sea and the delayed arrival of goods and food supplies due to some shipping companies choosing the Cape of Good Hope instead of Bab Al-Mandeb.

The decline in economic activity in Israel is a small part of the repercussions of the economic blockade imposed by Yemen, in addition to a complete halt of production and agricultural operations in the south and north of Israel due to confrontations on the border.
