British Authority: The “Marlin Luanda” ship has been burning for 5 hours
The British Maritime Trade Operations has reported that the oil ship “Marlin Luanda” is still burning as a result of being targeted by Sana’a forces with several missiles in the Gulf of Aden.

The authority stated that the ship’s crew is safe and that the fire is still burning despite the presence of coalition warships to assist in extinguishing it.
The British authority’s report came at half past midnight on Saturday, according to Sana’a time, while the initial report of the ship’s hit and the outbreak of fires was at half past seven in the evening on Friday.

According to the British Mirror newspaper, the “Marlin Luanda” ship is owned by Oceonix Services, based in London, and leased to the giant trading company Trafigura.
Earlier, Trafigura reported that the oil products tanker “Marlin Luanda” was hit by a missile while crossing the Red Sea, and fires broke out in the ship’s tank.
In a statement, Sana’a forces announced that targeting the ship came in the context of supporting the Palestinian people’s just cause and in response to the American-British aggression on Yemen, after Britain, alongside the US, carried out a series of attacks on Yemeni sites.
Until the aggression ceases and food and medicine are delivered to the besieged Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, the armed forces’ operations will continue in the Red and Arabian Seas against Israeli ships or those heading to the ports of occupied Palestine, according to the statement.
The statement confirmed that the Yemeni Armed Forces will continue to implement all military measures within the legitimate right to defend Yemen and as a reaffirmation of the continuation of practical solidarity with the Palestinian people.
The Deputy Director of the Moral Guidance Department in Sana’a, Brigadier General Abdullah bin Amer, stated that Yemen will deal with and continue to deal with any escalation in proportion to the escalation itself. He pointed out that the American British is the one who determines what level or extent the region will go in the conflict, so if they want to escalate, Yemen and the Yemeni people have nothing but more resilience and confrontation.
