The Ansar Allah Leader reveals the scale of operations that struck “Eisenhower” and affirms it will remain a target for Yemeni forces
Abdul-Malik Al-Houthi, the leader of the Ansar Allah movement, confirmed on Thursday that Yemeni forces targeted the American aircraft carrier “Eisenhower” with seven winged missiles and four drones, during two operations that directly hit it.
Sana’a – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:
In his weekly address, Al-Houthi stated, “After targeting the aircraft carrier ‘Eisenhower’ twice, it retreated towards the northern Red Sea out of fear of being targeted again by our armed forces.” He explained that “Eisenhower” was approximately 400 kilometers from the Yemeni coast during the targeting, then moved away to about 880 km northwest of Jeddah.
The Ansar Allah leader considered the operation targeting the aircraft carrier “Eisenhower” successful, and he noted that air traffic ceased for two days after the targeting, stressing that this targeting operation had “a significant impact on its escape and changing its course away from the area where it was present.”
He pointed out that “US warships flee and change their course when the targeting operation is successful, and this becomes evident through monitoring using available technologies.” He also mentioned that “the Americans tried to deny the targeting of ‘Eisenhower,’ which reflects their embarrassment, sense of defeat, and the shattering of their prestige.”
Abdul-Malik Al-Houthi reiterated the affirmation that the American aircraft carrier “Eisenhower” will remain a target for our armed forces whenever the opportunity arises.
